Rotary Club of Greenland Silchars free eye camp is a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing quality eye care services to underprivileged communities in Barak Valley. On 09-11-2025 we organised Eye Camp alongside Udoy Er Pothe NGO InAssociation With Choudhury Eye Clinic Doctors coming from at Nitya Moyee School Kalimohan Road, Tarapur Silchar. Our mission is to restore vision and improve the quality of life for individuals suffering from eye diseases, particularly cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors. - Free eye screenings and check-ups - Cataract surgeries and other eye surgeries - Distribution of free eyeglasses and medications - Awareness programs on eye health and hygiene - Training and capacity-building for local healthcare professionals - 105 patients were screened and provided consulation - 45 patients were advised for surgery. - 56 patients were detected with Cataract.
